Good some info but still not enough Where is the output going ? What do you mean "cannot play" - crash ? no sound ? garbled sound ? Where is the debug output ?
At 200Mhz - processor can be up to about 80% loaded decoding to a WAV file. If you are trying to convert to audio then I think CPU will be overloaded. Try a test - stream output to /dev/nul using mplayer -ao pcm:nowaveheader:file=/dev/nul RMFILE Get an RM file of known duration. Run the above command and time it. The ratio of time takemn to play to NULL and actual duration will tell you how much CPU is needed. If ratio is above 0.8 - you cannot play real audio with mplayer without more optimisation. -- bpa ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=34178 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
