What I do is use the radio paradise plugin, play the flac interactive stream, then add to favorites. Then, if they are organized on folders, I go into the LMS or Material UI and move to the desired folder. I really don't enter a URL into favorites unless its a station that isn't available through tune in, etc. If you need any help with the steps, let me know >From memory, I think you need the plugin to play interactive, i.e. you can't just use a URL.
