I've stayed with my current version for as long as I have since I firmly believe that if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Especially with something like LMS where security patches aren't really necessary. I also recall hearing some bad things about the earlier version of 8. But I have downloaded 8.2 and will install it shortly and report back.
