My info is second hand but I presume people are using it as the main router/WAP.
I've tried to sort some AlienBBC users out on this Forum and Roku. There are also independent threads on the Reciva website where Reciva products (e.g. Acoustic Enegry Wifi radio, Logik IR100) don't work with Airport Extreme.
