Getting all of this going the first time is always tricky.

Are you sure that you are doing:

My only other guess is maybe there is some kind of file type mismatch. 
First, double check from the install instructions:

"From the SlimServer web interface, select Server Settings -> File
Types. Check all the boxes which have “InguzDSP” in the decoder
listing, and uncheck everything else."

Then make sure that the file type you are playing (i.e. fast forwarding
to) is one of the Inguz supported file types...

It took me a few tries the first time I tried, too.  Worth the effort,
though!
