Hi,

Sorry to jump-in in this thread. But I am exited about Inguz DSP. I was
almost considering buying a Tact, foolish me.

First, thanks and congratulations for making available such a tool with
great functionalities.

What I am particularly interested in is room correction, so I'll have
to get a decent mike and preamp first, before I can comment further. I
just installed the plugin in order to see if everything goes well...
and I have to admit that when I play my music (they are all 44/16 WAV
files), with all settings of EQ disabled (that means no equalisation,
correction, effects, etc...), I don't get what I would expect (I would
expect the same sound as before). In fact the dynamic is now quite
restrained. When I play WAV as WAV or WAV as FLAC I am fine, but not
with WAV as FLAC/Unguz. And that's quite significant (I'd say more than
the difference between a WAV and Mp3 file).

I'll have to look into it, but some questions come to my mind,

1. Is this percieved lack of dynamics in fact a lower gain through the
DSP, and that I'd just have to turn the power up (I'll have to do more
listening tests)?
2. Is there some setting I am missing?
3. Did others here have the same experience?
4. And finally if this effect is confirmed, what can I expect from room
correction, would it overcompensate it or would I better save on the
mike and keep my system as it is now?

I don't think I got a limitation in computing power, I have a quite
powerfull Vista config.

Thanks
