There are two possible issues whichs stops playback. 1. The stream is encoded using Sony ATRAC3 (aka RealAudio 8) so you need to have the special codecs included in your mplayer. BBC and others use G2/Cook/Realaudio 6 2. It looks like the transportprotocol is RTSP over HTTP which is not supported by mplayer (and hence AlienBBC).
