mortod: Are there any error messages in your log when playing DTS/AC3 tracks? Or do you hear white-noise-type output instead of decoded surround?
The most recent build (0.9.24, 12th August) should actually pass SPDIF-wrapped tracks straight through without any processing. Unfortunately I don't have a surround receiver handy to test with, so I'm not sure where the problem might be. If you can email me a fragment of the inguz log.txt that would help.
