Attached is a zipped version of the MyPicks - Plugin.pm file. The only change is additional debug statements testing the permission of the target directory.
Replace the Plugin.pm in MyPicks, restart slimserver, enable d_plugins, open a debug log window and then try saving mypicks.opml again.
