Good, the debug output shows that Slimserver recognises that
"D:\SlimServer" - exists, is a directory and has read access.  The
"write" tests both as real and effective users failed.

This means it is a permission / access control problem or possibly
because Slimserver is a service it is not allowed. 

Can you stop Slimserver and start it manually - that way Slimserver
will run as a User process and not a service. Then repeat the test.
