Hi Dom

Sorry for the late answer, I was on vacation until today.

You have three possibilties.

1) Build another AmpSwitch circuit and use the plugin you already use
for both of them.

2) Use PowerSwitch II for the new SB3 in parallel with the existing
AmpSwitch. (I have not tried to use both plugins at the same time, but
I don't see why it should not work.)

3) Use the new PowerSwitch II for both of your SBs. For this solution
you would need to replace your existing AmpSwitch circuit.

Some technical background that might help you decide. When I initially
coded IRBlaster support for SB2/3 into the firmware I did not think to
add a possibility to permanently turn on the output as this was not
needed for IRBlaster. That is why AmpSwitch actually switches between
headphone out (floating) and IRBlaster (pulled to GND).

Then Transporter added a dedicated IR out jack and I enhanced the
firmware and added the possibility to turn the output on permanently.
Also on Transporter the output cannot be set to floating anymore. This
was the reason for PowerSwitch.

As SB2/3 and Transporter share the IRBlaster code this change also made
it into newer SB2/3 firmware revisions, hence I simplified the situation
by only providing one solution - PowerSwitch II.

Nevertheless AmpSwitch continues to work for SB2/3 also with the latest
firmware.

Cheers
Felix

Everyone said: This cannot be done. But one day someone came along who
didn't know about this - and did it. (Source unknown)
