Some NAS linux omits the /dev/fd or only allows /dev/fd 0,1 and 2.  If
that is the case for your Terastation you will need to rebuild mplayer
with patches flipflip created for similar problem on Synology NAS -
usually called mplayer-stdout.

This will also require some changes to custom-convert.conf

First confirm whether /dev/fd works on your NAS.
