The current mixer API only allows a plugin to provide a mixer through a
perl class, the result is that all the mixers available in Custom
Browse can't be supported since these are based on XML file
configurations not perl classes.

The good news is that you should be able to do almost the same through
the Dynamic Playlist mixer.
1. Create a new playlist in "SQL Playlist" plugin of the type "Top
rated for artist"
2. Change the playlist name to "Random for artist" or something
similar
3. Leave the "Minimum rating" field empty unless you like to ignore low
rated tracks in the random mix
4. Save the playlist

You should now be able to push the PL mixer button in search results
and then select "Random for artist" to start a dynamic playlist with
the selected artist in random order. In the player interface you will
do the same by selecting "Dynamic Playlist" after you have hold play
down for a while on the artist.

It might be a good idea to write a feature request on the Random Mix
plugin that it should make mixers available to make it possible to
start a RandomMix playlist from a mixer button beside an artist, year
and genre.
