It is quite likely that you have another plugin (eg. my PlaylistMan plugin) 
that has registered custom key controls on the now playing screen.

Due to what I consider a bug in the SqueezeCenter software, only one plugin can 
register a custom keymap for each menu.  The first plugin to be initialised 
will win, and other plugins that attempt to register keys for this menu will be 
ingored (no errors or warnings will be logged).

I have fixed the problem and added a patch to bug 5112, which I hope will be 
reviewed for release in SC7.0.  If you are running SC7.0, you can try applying 
this patch yourself (works great for me), or wait for it to be patched 
officially into SC7.0.

If you are running 6.5 or don't fancy applying the patch, you could add 
commands into a custom IR key map file.  You could ask Erland if he could 
provide the relevant commands.
