I only use my squeezeboxes (and never the web interface) so I would also love to create a similar artist's station from my player.
Although I agree that it would probably be a pain if the artist's name must be typed in with the remote wouldn't it be easy to browse to an artist of my music library and then press a specific button to create a station similar to this artist (like hold PLAY for creating a Music IP mix)? Second question: What do you mean with "'Similar Artist' stations for recently played tracks are automatically available from the plugin's station menu though."?
