Triode Thank you for this. I tried this version of mplayer and (perhaps unsurprisingly) it didn't work with my G5 PPC - I got an error message saying I had a 'Bad CPU type'. This seemed a bit harsh - it's old but not that bad :)
Anyway, is there any hope of a fix for a version that works for us with older macs (apart from buying a new mac)?
