What player are you using ? If is using stream.mp3 - then AlienBBC does not work with stream.mp3.
If you are using a Squeezebox, Transport or Softsqueeze, the obvious answer would be some sort of configuration issues. I hope when you installed AlienBBC that you downloaded both AlienBBC and SC7 around the same time. If it is an old SC7 download there were some SC7 changes which necessitated AlienBBC beta5 - if you are running an "old" SC7 this could be the issue. otherwise 1. Check that WAV and Flac RTSP entries in Setting/Advanced/Filetypes are enabled and MP3 should be enabled if you have Lame installed. 2.
