I have a love/hate relationship with AMG, but they are usually my first go-to when I want to explore and 'play' with my music. Their search is terrible. Their site is slow and littered with ads. Their acquisition by Macrovision has me pessimistic about the situation improving. But, I enjoy their reviews and am fascinated by their characteristic data.

The per-player settings would be a waste (especially considering it isn't 'your thing') unless there were other compelling benefits. I like your idea for "==" and "**" selection. I look forward to trying it out. Thanks again, David -- studley The Guide is definitive. Reality is often inaccurate.
