I have reproduced your problem on a XP system but cannot do the same on
a Linux one. So it looks like it is a SC "bug" but possibly a very
specific one - only one Plugin and an extra "Plugins" directory on a
Windows system.

It is possible when a user see the AlienBBC installer directory prompt,
browse the server directory tree and possibly install into a new
directory. Although the coincidence of the problem with another German
Windows XP users make me feel there could be something.

I'll report the "bug" and it may get fixed if it is considered a bug.
It can be argued that it is a user error to have an extra unused
directory in Plugins. If it is not fixed at least the symptoms & cause
will be documented.

Thanks for persisting.
