Hi all-- I've been trying to get AlienBBC to play streams from otr.net, which has a huge archive of old time radio programs in realaudio format. It looks like mplayer.sh can't handle spaces in .ram playlists, though. If I try to play one, for example:
http://www.otr.net/r/fibb/27.ram which contains a link to the following stream: rtsp://www.otr.net/28.8/fibb - Fibber McGee and Molly/fibb.1939.05.30_Escaped_Convicts.rm?title="Escaped Convicts"&author="Fibber McGee and Molly"©right="OTR.Network" I get this message: Streaming: Launching mplayer -really-quiet -vc null -vo null -bandwidth 10000000 -cache 128 -af volume=0,resample=44100:0:1,channels=2 -ao pcm:nowaveheader:file=/dev/fd/3 rtsp://www.otr.net/28.8/fibb - Fibber McGee and Molly/fibb.1939.05.30_Escaped_Convicts.rm?title="Escaped Convicts"&author="Fibber McGee and Molly"©right="OTR.Network" Failed to get a SDP description from URL "rtsp://www.otr.net/28.8/fibb": cannot handle DESCRIBE response: RTSP/1.0 404 Not Found Now, I can see that it's not handling spaces in the stream URL, and I've seen one thread that mentioned a workaround for playing .wma files with spaces in them, but said workaround didn't work for .ram files for me. Is there any workaround that will do the trick for these files? Thanks in advance, and forgive me for being thick if this has been discussed before--I did search the forums extensively and didn't find anything that worked for me. -- wagstaff ------------------------------------------------------------------------ wagstaff's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=15898 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=47182 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
