To see mplayer/mplayer.sh output which may give a clue, you will need to run Sc from shell prompt.
1. edit custom-convert.conf and change --really-quiet to --quiet. 2. Run SC from a shell prompt. 3. Enable logging plugin.alienbbc to DEBUG and player.source to INFO. 4. Try to play the RTSP stream using Tune-in to avoid unecessary alienbbc messages. 5. After about 1 minute stop SC. 6.
