I don't have a Mac so I hope a Mac owner would correct any advice I may give.
The method you describe sounds like it is close to what was needed for AlienBBC 1.06 - but is not correct. For AlienBBC 2.0 - mplayer installation is simpler. 1. Down the dmg file from mplayer hq (e.g. http://www1.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/releases/MPlayerOSX_1.0rc2.dmg ) 2. Install the dmg as per normal OSX install procedures. 3. Finished. I don't know is OSX needs a reboot or such like. If a standard MPlayer installation works, then AlienBBC will pick up the correct "mplayer" from the appropriate subdirectory - there is no longer any need for extra user dragging of files to /usr/local/bin. In your case you should also remove *all* existing MPlayer files and directories before doing a new installation. -- bpa ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=47039 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
