I have a system like this built into my new Yamaha receiver. You plug the mike in, start it and get out of the way. It's pretty cool and seems to work well. You can run it with the curtains open, then closed and save both settings and any adjustments you make manually. Plus you can save for types of music which is nice. Very useful tool.
