Depends. Your serer will have to resize/resample so if your server is slow this can take a bit, but that's probably not an issue with only one pic. Second thing is: Depends on your artwork. If that's got lower resolution it may actually take more time. But you are right in that this is probably less of an issue than the other way round since large images will take up much more time. Good hint, I will give it a try.
