Just wanted to report that, having tried unsuccessfully to get most of the previous versions of SugarCube working on my ubuntu server, I installed 1.4.2 and it looks like this has finally done the trick. Not sure if turning off the "Play all songs from album" setting in SC7 was the breakthrough or not - does this matter?
