It's the same in different encodings. The first is utf8, the seconds ansi or 
latin1 or something. You might want to 
Slim::Utils::Unicode::utf8encode_locale(filename) or similar (look at the 
functions in Slim::Utils::Unicode and the MusicIP plugin).
