I don't think I'm being unnecessarily self-deprecating when I say that I'm coming to this with just enough C experience to bluff my way through the easy stuff. I have no OO coding experience whatsoever, so much of SC's and related plugin code seems very cryptic and mysterious to me. In fact, lots of perl code just gives me a headache when I look at it.
For instance, the fact the variable names are prefaced with a "$" ...is that just a US thing? Should we switch to a "" as the USD declines in value? Speaking of switch, where's the friggin "switch CASE" control block? And so far, I seem to be making a total hash of figuring out data structures in perl. That said, I have been trying to incorporate your code into the plugin...but with limited success thus far. The callus on my forehead is thickening and the brick wall has yet to topple from my efforts.
