No, I'm using Windows XP SP2. Initially I unzipped the installation files using Windows XP's built in "Extract all files" utility. I noticed that it took a long time (about 5 minutes) to extract the files, so I was suspicious. I've now tried deleting everything in the relevant C:\Program Files\SqueezeCenter\server\Plugins\... folder, then reinstalling, this time using WinRAR to extract the files, but again I'm getting the same problem with the text in the plugins' settings page. Has anyone out there had success with a similar setup? What utility are people using to unzip the installation files?
