If you just want to decode m4a files (i.e. not AAC+ streams or RealAudio), then it would be better just to build faad2. It is smaller and also outputs to stdout.
Yoiu have not stated your platform, OS or processor. For some distributions or libraries( e.g. debian, optware) there may be a version of faad (or faad2) already available. If no built version is available, you can get the source for faad2 2.6. from here http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=704 If building for an ARM or MIPsel processor you will probably have to enable use of fixed point rather than floating point. -- bpa ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=47999 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
