I've been struggling to get mplayer to convert .mp4 files to WAV streams for my SB1. I've tried using the AlienBBC mplayer.sh script and have also tried the named pipes trick. Unfortunately, I haven't gotten very far.
I'm hoping to revert to stock and simply use the modified mplayer-stdout to use stdout instead of /fd/3. A couple of questions while I'm on it. dev/fd/3: Does Squeezecenter expect it here, or is this an AlienBBC convention?
