How would this be (it'd take a little bit of work on my part)

in SC7.1 or newer (to make ContextMenu register arrow_right.hold
automatically):
- (once) install PlayLog
- (once) install ContextMenu
- (once) go to the ContextMenu web UI and disable all the options
except for one new one (which you'd have to enable!) called something
like "Log info and skip"
- when you want to skip a song & log info about it, just hold the right
arrow

If you wanted to use ContextMenu for other things, that last bullet
would be

- when you want to skip a song & log info about it:
- hold the right arrow so the ContextMenu choices appear
- scroll up or down to "Log info and skip"
- then briefly press the right arrow (or Add or Play)

(If you wanted to use ContextMenu for other things, I'd suggest you
think about the "smart" vs. alphabetical ordering.)

Then you'd have those skipped songs listed in the "Log of songs played"
web page, which has controls for stuff like sorting (to find dupes or
organize by artist and/or album) and deleting items from the list (when
you've done your JRMC chores).
