I'm using the official 7.2 release. More research shows that MultiLibrary does not always display an active library. Selecting the full dependent library and hitting refresh seems to fix the problem temporarily but after a while no library is active.
I tried new and full rescan of music library, and at least that is not what is causing the problem.
