(As a point of info, I've restarted the server a number of times with no change).
I changed player screensaver from MusicInfoScr to Now Playing. I got a mostly blank display, and time that did not change! I unchecked MusicInfoScr plugin and restarted server. Now Playing looked fine! I rechecked the plugin, restarted, and Now Playing was still fine. I reselected MusicInfoScr as the screensaver, and it is working properly!
