OK, actually this is the perfect place for this question and I'll start
redirecting support questions from the main thread in General
Discussion

You probably have a database larger than 2.000 albums, this is a known
issue and a fix has been submitted to Apple on Tuesday morning.
Hopefully, it will be on the App Store tonight (California time).

Meanwhile:
The problem is that sorting of the imported library happens in the main
thread blocking the UI. So what you can do is:
Start iPeng.
1. Go to "Settings" and select "Prevent Sleep Mode".
2. Go to Albums and do nothing until the album covers start to appear
(~5-6 min for 4.500 albums)
3. Quit iPeng
4. Restart iPeng. Now it should work as expected until you do a rescan
of the server or switch servers or press "Flush Cache" which I
recommend not to do until the update is out.
