Hello bpa, I checked on a couple of OSX/Unix forums, and they say, after some investigation, that it doesn't matter what the Finder says of my file. As long as the file-modes say it is executable, then it is. And they do say it is - so it is. Which I suppose means the problem lies elsewhere. Any ideas for the next move?
