Please tell me it is... :) Almost. A couple of caveats:
1). You should try changing the SqueezeNetwork settings for your player so that the Date and Time screen saver is selected both for "Screensaver when off" AND "Screensaver when stopped". That way, you aren't dependent on the player remaining "off" when it gets switched to SN for the clock display. 2). The "Restore players from SqueezeNetwork" feature only works (at present) when the server is starting (or restarting)...not resuming from suspend or hibernation. Getting the plugin to realize that it has come awake again after being suspended will require more work and brain cells on my part, I'm afraid. 3). You can't WOL a suspended or shutdown local server from a SqueezeNetwork connected player without going through the step of reselecting that server as the music source from the SqueezeNetwork menu. That said, you can generally do that in, at most, three clicks on the remote. I suggest you download the plugin and give it a try. In the settings for the plugin, you can select "Assign Server Power Control action to the Sleep+Hold button" and select "Suspend to SqueezeNetwork" as the default action. That way, just pressing and holding the sleep button on the IR remote will switch the player to SN and suspend your server. After your player has been on SqueezeNetwork for a few minutes, a couple of further clicks on the IR remote should wol the local server and reconnect the player. -- gharris999 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ gharris999's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=115 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=48521 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
