Re Shutdown/Suspenend/etc to SqueezeNetwork and the Duet:
It's working for me with no glitches with SqueezeCenter 7.3. Have the
SqueezeNetwork folks upgraded their firmware stores to the 7.3 level?
My SBR isn't getting hit with a new firmware when it switches to SN.
My system, as it stands now:
Version: 7.3 - TRUNK svn 24280.
Operating system: Red Hat - EN - utf8 (Fedora 10)
Platform Architecture: i686-linux
Perl Version: 5.10.0 - i386-linux-thread-multi
MySQL Version: 5.0.67-log
Total Players Recognized: 2
SBR: Player Model: receiver
Firmware: 55
Wireless Signal Strength: 60%
SBC: Version: 7.3 r3476
Anyway, to debug problems switching the Duet to SqueezeNetwork, in the
SC web UI, go to Settings->Advanced->Logging, Check "Save logging
settings for use at next application restart" and set the logging level
for "(plugin.SrvrPowerCtrl) - Server Power Control" to "Debug". Apply
the settings and then restart SqueezeCenter. Then, try to do a
"Suspend to SqueezeNetwork" for the SBR using the SBC. If everything
works as it should, the SBR will switch over to SN and the SBC will
"follow along" in a few seconds. If you try to ping your SC server,
you'll see pings answering back for another minute or so before the
server goes into S3 sleep.
Wake your server back up (WOL or somesuch) and take a look at the SC
server log. The log for a successful transition for the Duet to SN
will look something like this:
