Unfortunately, I simply can't get SDT working in SC7.3. I've added the link in the Extension Downloader, but on the Plugins page it still says:
SuperDateTime Screensaver (v5.5.1) Displays local time, date, weather, sports, and stocks information. Plugin is incompatible with this version of SqueezeCenter. Please update.
