One advantage to MusicIP is that it is bundled plugin so it will always work with new SC releases. Sugarcube is a third party thing and the author has to maintain it to keep it compatible with SC updates.
I guess the main advantage to Sugarcube is you can enable it and let it go, and (theoretically) it should just keep adding new tracks endlessly, until you intervene and disable it.
