I posted the bug reports - one part of the problem has been verified. The bugs have been marked for fixing in 7.3.2 - it wasn't considered urgent enough for 7.3.1 as I think 7.3.1 had to be released this side of Christmas with fixes to the 7.3.0 "showstopper" bugs.
