"default" should definitely let 7.3 do its thing (after saving copies of the playlists in case you want SO to restore the playlist after unsyncing). "attempt mid-track" will let 7.3 do its thing for the old "native" formats (it should probably just always let 7.3 do its thing, at least when all the players are SB2 or newer). If you're not seeing that behavior, be sure you're running the latest (7a22). I've been considering making SO change the setting to "default" the first time SO is loaded in 7.3, so anyone upgrading to 7.3 (and running the latest SO) will default to taking advantage of Alan's work. > For me, the only need for syncoptions is to unsync at power down, and > I'm just curious as to what else I'm getting in the package. Trouble, sounds like! I'm happy to fix any bugs you can help me find by giving details. If you see the behavior you describe with 7a22 (I sure don't on my systems, using all SB2/SB3 with local MP3 files), please let me know. Looking at the code, if you've set the main sync option to default, all it should be doing is saving the playlist of the joiner, saving the playlist of the master if it's a new sync group, and then letting 7.3 do its thing. -Peter -- peterw http://www.tux.org/~peterw/ free plugins: http://www.tux.org/~peterw/#slim AllQuiet BlankSaver ContextMenu FuzzyTime KidsPlay KitchenTimer PlayLog PowerCenter/BottleRocket SaverSwitcher SettingsManager SleepFade StatusFirst SyncOptions VolumeLock ------------------------------------------------------------------------ peterw's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2107 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=57055 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
