Hi again, and thanks for your replies. I reinstalled MC 12.0 and everything worked fine. In the MediaCenter forum, an administrator gave me the following advice: "That's almost certainly an issue with the MC2Slim software, not with MC13. Please try contacting the author. We'll provide a license." But if I'm the only (known) person to have faced any problems here, perhaps I should just wait and see until version 13.0 has an official release?
