I'm expecting delivery of a squeezebox3 anyday now, I live in Australia and like to listening to BBC Essex on my Bush Internet radio and on realplayer on my PC. I assumed that as Squeezebox doesn't support real media files that had put paid to BBC Essex, now I see on this forum that there is the alienBBC plugin. In order to use this plugin the mplayer needs to be installed. OK my question is where does the mplayer get installed? On my PC? If so will I need my PC on in order to listen to the re-encoded BBC Essex?
