I've taken a different approach. A linux script that uses mplayer to rip a stream. If its mp3, I just rip it. If its something else, I capture a wave and lame it to mp3. The script takes a time and records that many minutes from the url you specify.
I have cron jobs which kick of the recorder for specific shows at specific times. I'm leaving out lots of details about error recovery, getting good URL's, etc. I suspect my script is too idiosyncratic to be useful to others, but I'd be happy to give it away as is. -- Millwood 2 SB3, 1 Duet Debian Etch server 2 AP (netgear, linksys) wireless network. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Millwood's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3600 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=57597 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
