Which version of SQL Playlist are you using ? Which type of playlist are you trying to create ? The typical case where you would get an "Error saving" message is when SqueezeCenter isn't allowed to write to the file you are trying to save the playlist to. This is typically the case if the SqueezeCenter process doesn't have write permission to the "Playlist directory" you have configured in the SqueezeCenter Settings/Plugins/SQLPlaylist section in the settings pages.
