I vote for srvPowerControl. I've watched this plugin grow for the last 6 months or so: + saves the planet + works in real life. IMO, it adds value to an SB setup (use of SN when the server is down, alarms management, plays nice with other plugins) + ported/tested to linux and windows (mac os x: partial) + closely follows SC releases + very good support, IMO, from its developper (Gordon Harris, aka gharris999) = still evolving. Gordons calls it "beta" but he's still adding features - *requires* the user to know a bit about his server hardware (suspend, WOL)
I don't know if srvPowerControl is installable via Extension Downloader. Ultimately when gharris999 releases v1.0, not having it in the repo would be a loss. BTW, I have used the installer, and I like it. Thanks for this. -- epoch1970 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ epoch1970's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=16711 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=56928 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
