I think the recommended plugins need to be filtered by player type. Many of the plugins I have tried to use do not work properly on the Squeezebox Boom.
SuperDateTime looks horrible on the Boom and I uninstalled it within minutes. If I would have known it didn't work with the only player I have setup with SqueezeCenter I wouldn't have wasted my time installing and configuring it only to walk upstairs to my bedroom to see junk all over the screen. WeatherTime is cool but it also does not work properly on the Boom.
