I bought a squeezebox earlier this week and it is absoluely awesome. Works really fast, plays in good quality and is just superb.
Was thinking about the Logitech fancy remote thing but was told could do the same thing on my iphone 3G with iPeng so I bought it. Sadly, so far it seems to be £5.99 wasted - although that could well be down to me rather than the prog. My setup is a networked hard drive plugged into my home hub, with all my music on it. I then have my squeeze center installed on a laptop, with itunes integration on. Basically, although my squeezebox works fine with my bundled remote, every screen press on my iphone takes (and I have been sad enough to time it) between 80 seconds (at the best) to upwards of 3 minutes at worst (I gave up after 3 minutes). Does anyone have any idea what is going on as it seems to have potential, but I don't really want to have wasted £5.99 :( I have no performance issues on my network at all other than this. Stream video and audio seamlessly.
