I guess my most frequent use of the plugin is to pull together many browse menus into one cohesive list, which can be tailored into a nice logical order. I have dynamic playlists, trackstat, my own SQL playlists, etc, all nicely arranged into a set of hierarchical menus. Also, the mixer support - Browse Selection for browsing the content of a playlist as a music heirarchy. >Bottom line for me is that I'd be very reluctant to update >SqueezeCenter to a version that is unsupported by Custom Browse and >Custom Scan. Me too. But I would probably miss SQL Playlist, Dynamic Playlist and TrackStat more so. Customising my own dynamic playlists to play random songs from a chosen year or genre that are not rated or rated greater than 3* is more important to me. I usually play these sort of playlists from configured alarms, or via browsing through Custom Browse. _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
