I run Windows XP on a dedicated to Squeezeserver HP laptop. I did not have LAME installed on SC 7.2 but Alien worked fine. Now I have SC 7.3 and installed LAME the I have disabled Flac on RTSP. The LAME bitrate is set to 320 I use Kaspersky security. I rebooted.
I have tried removing the LAME files from Squeezecenter-server-bin and then rescaning. The Alienbbc audio then works OK.
